English language requirements for a UK visa?

All non-majority English speaking nationals who wants to obtain a visa to live, work, or study in the UK must meet an English language requirement for their visas. Depending on your visa category you will have to obtain a minimum level of english according to the table below. The levels are divided into six Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) levels from A1 (beginners) to C2 (advanced).
